Booking and Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy:

• Insurance: To avoid any misunderstanding, a booking constitutes a binding contract.  All guests confirming a booking are advised to take out insurance to cover the full cost of their accommodation in the event of a cancellation.  We will seek compensation for any cancelled accommodation that cannot be rebooked, including premature curtailment of stay.

• The booking is only confirmed if we receive the booking form and deposit!
  Accommodation will automatically be cancelled if the deposit is not received.

Cancellation Policy: (In terms of chapter 2, Section 1 of the Consumer Protections Act 68 of 2008, Amaqele is committed to best practice and as such has aligned its refunds policy to be in line with the consumer Protection Act (Section 17, subsection 3 (b), 4 (a-d))

• In the event that this reservation is cancelled within 3 days – 100%, 3 to 7 days – 75%, 8 to 13 days – 50% and 14 to 29 days of my/our arrival I understand that 25% of the total invoiced amount is payable. More than 30 days prior to arrival – no charge!

• For non-arrival/no show/premature departure, 100% of the accommodation cost will be payable.

• No persons other than those quoted for, are permitted to share the accommodation.

• I confirm the above reservation details are correct

A confirmed booking implies that our Terms and Conditions have been read and understood
